The Devil in Miss Jonas / What Really Happened to Miss Jonas? (1974)
Double Feature on 1 DVD
DIRECTOR: Erwin C. Dietrich (Hot Sex in Bangkok, Hostess in Heat)
STARS: Devil in Miss Jonas: Christa Free (Penthouse Playgirls), Marianne Dupont (Strip for Action), Herbert Fux (The Uranium Conspiracy) / What Really Happened to Miss Jonas?: Christa Free (Strip for Action), Marianne Dupont, Michel Jacot
SYNOPSIS: Two sex and nudity filled imports from Germany
The Devil in Miss Jonas (Der Teufel in Miss Jonas): Miss Jonas (Christa Free) is a nymphomaniac who is open to any and all forms of sexual pleasure. At a wild sex ritual with men in executioner hoods she’s placed on a guillotine and killed. Down in the depths of hell she meets ol’ beelzebub himself. However, when the devil realizes that Miss Jonas is one day early for her residency he allows her another 24hrs with the living. So, she spends her last day doing what she does best: screwing anything on two legs. Everyone is shocked that she's back after attending her funeral but that doesn’t get in the way of giving her one more fuck. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a film (sexploitation or even XXX) where the star of the movie is completely naked (except for two short moments) for the film’s entire runtime — but Christa Free does just that. She’s a full-figured woman with natural double D’s and a hairy bush. You also get the cute Marianne Dupont as her roommate and sometimes lover. Packed to the gills with sex scenes and a fair amount of humor. Running time: 1hr 11mins. WIDESCREEN
What Really Happened to Miss Jonas? (Was geschah wirklich mit Miss Jonas?): The sequel has more plot to it and actually serves as a prequel. A private investigator is hired by a businessman to find a nude centerfold girl (Christa Love). The film goes back and forth between the P.I.’s investigation and Love being hired as a dancer, model, and eventually an actress (for the above film). She has sex with a sleazy photographer, a film producer, and more. Meanwhile the P.I. has sex with some of the people he interviews. It ends with Love seeing the finished film in a theater and finally meeting with the private eye. Besides the numerous sex scenes one of the best things about the film is the subtitles. They don’t have bad or incorrect grammar like some imported films — they are just… colorful. Dialogue like: “I thought you were harmless and you’re worse that Modesty Blaise and McGray combined”, “A saint on a pillar has no chance at all. The pillar is poisonous.”, “To cover up holes you need a top class designer” and “I’m starting to think he’s pretty dumb. Most directors are pretty dumb.” Running time: 1hr 22mins. WIDESCREEN
