SYNOPSIS: George Kennedy appears onscreen and narrates this documentary exploring various ways our planet might come to end. This is a late entry in the documentary film craze started in the 70's that usually focused on Bigfoot, UFOs and supernatural phenomena. Jupiter Menace has a strong emphasis on biblical prophecies and natural disasters. Kennedy talks about ancient cultures wiped out by earthquakes, doomsday preppers and preachers who warn of God's wrath. One "scientist" created a computer program to cross reference bible scripture with historical disasters. A guy with a bushy mustache and heavy New York accent is interviewed about his book We Are the Earthquake Generation. World ending tidal waves, volcanoes and earthquakes are all predicted by the year 2000. Re-enactments, stock footage and some cheesy effects are used to illustrate their ideas. The soundtrack is an electronic score by Synergy.
