SYNOPSIS: Our old pal “Coffin Joe” gets a little meta in this film. José Mojica Marins appears as himself, a famous director and actor of horror films. He’s on vacation for Christmas at a friend’s villa on a small island. Marins and his friend talk about the occult and his new movie. But soon, strange things start happening. A piano plays by itself, a zombie man attacks with an axe and the Christmas tree appears to be filled with snakes, spiders, and a skull! The woman of the house has a weird relationship with a witch who lives in the woods. Turns out she may have made a deal with the devil in order to give birth to her daughter. The last half hour is classic “Coffin Joe” stuff with a huge orgy of naked people, blood, candles, skulls, etc. Marins appears in this sequence as both himself and his alter ego. In Portuguese language with English subtitles.
