SYNOPSIS: Following the success of All American Girl, director Mark Haggard made this sexploitation rarity. “Jean” (James) is staying at her sister’s house, a very middle class home circa 1975, with her brother-in-law and niece. She looks to be in her early 30’s but acts much older and very conservative. In fact, all the women in the film turn out to be pretty frigid. In one scene she masturbates while fantasizing about walking though a park dressed in Victorian era clothing and making love in the grass while classical music plays on the soundtrack. Jean goes on a date with a guy and they have sex. He’s perfectly nice to her, and nothing wrong happens, but she treats him like a rapist. Then suddenly halfway through the film Jean and her niece talk about how to get a man and the subject of a smooth pussy comes up. Two minutes later we get a close-up shot of her pubes being shaved followed by an incestuous lesbian scene between the two women! It’s more melodrama than drive-in style sexploitation. It feels like a 70’s softcore film made specifically for woman or couples. Originally released with a single X rating.
