SYNOPSIS: Italian sexpot Edwige Fenech stars as a taxi driver who gets into all sorts of comedic situations in this breezy late 70’s comedy. Fenech is the lone female taxi driver in town. Some of the other cabbies are interested in bedding her down, especially the very funny Aldo Maccione. But she’s in love with prissy actor George Hilton (who she finds out is married to a real crow). A local motorcycle cop also has the hots for her and proposes with a cheap ruby ring. At one point she picks up a local mafia boss and overhears his plans for a big shipment of drugs. Working with the police she’s goes undercover in a blonde wig and does a striptease at a fancy club. Eventually Fenech, the cabbies, the cops and the mafia end up in a big chase finale. This one is filled with silly, sometimes slapstick, humor and action. Fenech gets naked throughout the film and shows off her impressive comedic chops too. In one scene she drives her cab through the streets completely nude! References and jokes are made about violent Italian crime films (aka Poliziotteschis), Squadra Antiscippo and Franco Nero.
