DIRECTOR: Fred Tan (Dark Night)
STARS: Siu-Fung Wong (The Blue Jean Monster), Shu-Yuan Hsu (The Seventh Curse), Shao-Kang Wu (The Happy Ghost)
SYNOPSIS: A woman is arranged to be killed in a car accident by her sleazy boyfriend. At the scene of the crime the killer uses a little black magic to seal the deal. But her spirit escapes and is able to control the body of a young dancer. Using her like a puppet the dead woman is able to get revenge on the boyfriend and his cohorts. A reporter and his spiritualist girlfriend try to help the poor girl and solve the mystery of the possession. Although it’s a bit slower than the usual Asian supernatural fare it does have action, graphic gore and fun special effects. Fans of late 80’s / early 90’s Asian films will dig it.
