SYNOPSIS: Excellent heist thriller from Australia that is the epitome of the term “hard as nails”. Donovan plays a somewhat unassuming worker for an armored truck company who hatches a plan to make off with millions. He has a few other workers, including a young Bryan Brown, in on the robbery with him. As always with these things - complications arise. An ex-cop at the company notices some of their odd behavior. A local criminal boss gets wind of the plan and wants to be cut in on the profits. All the characters are tough, experienced, no-nonsense men. When things start to go “tits up” it gets very violent and very bloody. Everything that happens in the plot feels 100% authentic. All the actors are first rate with Donovan making his character just likable enough to be the lead… but not the hero. The heroes are not who you might expect. If you’re a fan of films like Asphalt Jungle, Thief, Heat, etc you’ll love this one. A must have! WIDESCREEN.
