The Making of a Killer (1984)

SYNOPSIS: Popular Mexican star Valentin Trujillo made his directing debut with this low budget action revenge film. Trujillo's father is a degenerate gambler who gets robbed and brutally murdered by a couple of creeps. He vows revenge and quickly tracks down the two men responsible 15 minutes into the film. One man is shot dead and the other is burned alive inside his car. This starts an increasingly violent chain of events wherein Trujillo is targeted by a friend of the dead men, then the crime boss (whose brother he killed), hired killers, etc. His only choice is to begin killing with extreme prejudice. The finale has Trujillo going one-on-one against the crime boss who has an attachment on his wheelchair to hold his machine gun! This is a low budget effort with plenty of shootings, stabbings, car chases, a sexy 'mamacitas' and melodrama.
