SYNOPSIS: Director Shonteff takes a break from his usual spy / secret agent films and goes with a private dick instead. This time it’s a bloke named “Clegg” who spends as much time screwing various ladies as he does getting into fights (and usually getting his ass kicked). The plot has a list of rich businessmen who receive notes telling them they will soon be dead. The assassin usually kills them within 24 hours of delivering the message. Clegg is hired by one victim to find the culprit before he strikes.. but ends up failing. Then he contacts the next man… and he gets killed too. Honestly, Clegg is more interested in milking these wealthy marks for all he can while every bird in town milks him. Eventually there’s a showdown with the final boss in an industrial area of the UK that looks like it’s still in 1920. The director goes easy on the laughs in this one. Plenty of violence and sex play to keep you entertained in this forgotten British sexploitation. Note: onscreen title is “Clegg”
