SYNOPSIS: Dennis Christopher plays a shy college student (circa 1970) who’s always daydreaming about adventures with a group of friends including his pal Gary Busey and a girl he has a crush on. In his fantasies, the gang travels by boat to a few remote islands where they explore, camp out, sing songs and get labeled “pirates” in the local newspaper. The bulk of the story takes place inside Christopher’s dream / fantasy world. The film is very low budget (probably 16mm) and experimental at times. The soundtrack boasts what may be the first film score made using a Moog synthesizer. Shot in Washington State.
