SYNOPSIS: This belongs to an odd film category of movies made directly for vhs and cable TV. Behind the Green Door star Marilyn Chambers stars as a version of herself, a famous movie star (not a porn star) who is broke due to mismanagement. She inherits a bed and breakfast and decides to give it a go. Once there she meets the salty housekeeper who gives her some pointers on running the old place. Some news outlets pick up on her story and soon the place is fully booked. On re-opening weekend she learns a famous writer will be there to rate her B&B on how romantic it is. Getting a good rating could mean the difference between success and failure. The guests include the writer, some newlyweds, a jewel thief, an undercover agent and lots and lots of topless women who hang around all day at the pool and swim naked underwater. The guest aren’t the only ones hooking up as Marilyn falls for a mysterious guest who sweeps her off her feet. A funny sequence has Marilyn showing the guests one of her films on 16mm. It’s shows her with a few other scantily clad women shooting it out with Nazi’s in a WWII exploitation film! Filled with silly humor, slapstick, sex scenes and nudity. Filmed in Canada.
