SYNOPSIS: Low level pot dealer John Heard is talked (forced, actually) into a big time drug smuggling scheme. Stephen McHattie convinces Heard to fly to Morocco and use his old connections to sneak the contraband out of the country. Along the way Heard gets his old pal Levon Helm to help him. They run into all sorts of roadblocks and problems including corrupt police and double crosses. John Ryhs-Davies is the local kingpin selling him the dope. The supporting cast is filled with lots of familiar Canadian actors. A handful of action scenes along with some drama in this obscure and forgotten film that's more Midnight Express than Raiders of the Lost Ark (see the deceiving artwork above). With a very 80’s sounding electronic score by Keith Emerson.
