SYNOPSIS: Offbeat film with former teen heartthrob Fabian playing a booze & drug using drifter who uses whores and scams money. He hooks up with a dubious preacher who turns Fabian into a bona fide rocking evangelist star. He's able to use his charisma, sex appeal and a little rock-n-roll gospel music to bring in the masses and money (not to mention more drugs and hookers!). He even manages to score a big time record deal. If you weren't already jaded about the money-making goals of some religious outfits this film will convince you. Might be described as a low-budget 70's take on A Face in the Crowd. With a surprise ending!
