SYNOPSIS: Excellent three part documentary covering the highs and lows of adult films over the years, mostly from a financial (and legal) viewpoint, as it grew from cheapy no-budget loops to a billion dollar industry. Topics covered are: John Holmes and the Wonderland murders, the home video explosion, the Traci Lords controversy, Savannah's suicide, organized crime involvement in adult films, the infamous DEEP THROAT trial, the Mitchell Brothers, Kathy Willets sex tape, the FBI's search for "snuff" films, the anti-porn movement, internet porn and more. This originally played on a now defunct US cable station. This extremely rare program has never been released on dvd or vhs. Over 2 & 1/2 hours.
NOTE: This documentary does not feature any X-rated (or even R-rated) footage as it was originally made for cable TV.
