SYNOPSIS: Indie film account of the real life Charlie Starkweather (19 yrs old) - Caril Ann Fugate (14 years old) murder spree in the 50's. They cut across Nebraska and Wyoming ultimately killing 11 people. Starts out with Starkweather getting ready for the electric chair and flashes back to the events which brought him there. Despite it's small budget the low key performances and rural settings make it an effective take on the subject. It is very similar to superior Badlands directed by Terrence Malick which covered the same ground. Amazingly, this one was supposedly shot the same year as Badlands (!) but did not surface until a video release in the early 80's!
