SYNOPSIS: A young man is on the run from corrupt cops in this 80's style thriller similar to Out of Bounds and Run. California yuppie "Joey" (Rohner) accidentally acquires an answering machine tape that has mysterious numbers on it. Crooked police detective Ray Sharkey wants to kill him off in case he realizes what the numbers actually mean. It's related to Joey's dad (Zerbe) who publishes a respected newspaper. Zerbe has a meeting set up with a police informant ready to expose deep department corruption. The bulk of the film is Joey running and hiding from the killer cops along with some help from cute love interest Talia Balsam. There are car chases, foot chases, shoot-outs and explosions. It's really fun seeing Paul Le Mat play a bad guy as normally his film roles tend to be the nice guy-next-door type. Vernon Wells (The Road Warrior) is listed in the opening and end credits but he's nowhere to found in the finished film!
