SYNOPSIS: Energetic comedy focusing on a businessman who becomes successful after WWII during Germany's economic boom. He has a scheme involving thousands of chickens and the U.S. Army. Everyone seems to be screwing, drinking, dancing and living it up in this back comedy dedicated to Rainer Werner Fassbinder. It looks like a lot of money went in to producing this lavish looking film. Based on a novel by Johannes Simmel. WIDESCREEN
