AND WHEN SHE WAS BAD...
(aka There Was a Little Girl)
(1973)
DIRECTOR: Gary Graver (Midnight Intruders, Trick or Treats, Suzie Superstar)
STARS: John Alderman (Teenage Jailbait, New Year's Evil), Lyllah Torena, Heather Vale, Robert Aiken
SYNOPSIS: Here's a great slice of sleaze from director Gary Graver. Jailbait tease "Sharon" gives a surprise visit to her stepfather (Alderman) that she hasn't seen in 10 years. He's dumbfounded but agrees to let her stay a while. His nasty new girlfriend isn't too happy about the arrangement. It turns out that young Sharon has some serious issues with sex, incestuous desires and visions of a faceless figure spying on her with more than a touch of Polanski's Repulsion. She tries to seduce her stepfather, his girlfriend and an unlucky bible salesman. It's packed with creative photography, brain melting music and vintage location footage of Los Angeles / Hollywood circa 1973; The Por-No Theatre, The Brown Derby, Union Station, The New View Theater on Hollywood Blvd was showing Save the Tiger and Catch 22, etc. Plus you'll see some cool Las Vegas shots too; "The 5th Dimension" at the Riviera, Stardust, The Silver Slipper, etc. Filled with sex, nudity, lesbianism, voyeurism, rape and murder. Highly recommended.
