This film is a mash-up of Spillane's usual tough guy crime caper with the 70's spy craze. The film has ditzy dames, a wisecracking anti-hero, sweaty foreign bad guys and exotic locales. As some other reviewers have commented, the film is a bit talky until the final 20 minutes or so where it gets more energetic with a jailbreak, car chase and bloody shoot-out. Almost impossible to find on vhs. Never released on dvd.
