SYNOPSIS: Real oddity that would be right at home as an episode of "The Twilight Zone" or "The Outer Limits". Zalman King stars as a jazz musician who wanders into the tent of a traveling carnival only to find a real life "Sleeping Beauty". The sleazy carny barker tells visitors that she has been asleep for many years and doctors can't help her. For $1.00 each the men line up to kiss and awaken her! Of course - no one succeeds. But King is smitten and talks the carny into selling her. He brings her back to his massive mansion and she eventually awakens. Hard to categorize this one - the whole film has a dreamy / fantasy vibe to it. Richard Pryor plays King's drug addict friend. There's also dancing lesbian nuns and a bit of nudity! A real one-of-a-kind rarity.
