SYNOPSIS: Jaclyn Smith stars in her first solo film after "Charlie's Angels". It has the feel of a made-for-TV movie but is nonetheless entertaining. Plotwise it owes much to Hitchcock and especially Clouzot's Diabolique. Smith stars as a trophy wife to jerky Mike Conners. She and her lover, James Franciscus, want to run off and live happily ever after. But of course it would be much easier with Conners out of the way. Franciscus decides to go ahead with a deadly plan but it all goes wrong. Soon Smith is being grilled by detective Robert Mitchum about the disappearance of both Conners and Franciscus. Is she being set up to take fall? Driven crazy? Or simply losing her mind? The suspenseful twist ending will provide the answers. WIDESCREEN
