Classic 50's rock & roll film. A very young John Saxon stars as frustrated teen rocker. He has high hopes to buy a brand new electric guitar to rock out with his band (including Sal Mineo on drums and Rod McKuen on bass). He's also working his moves on a sexy teen beach bunny. Lot's of teenage drama and morality (from stiff-as-a-board father Edward Platt), comedy (from wisecracker Mineo) and a ton of music in this fun gem. BTW - Sal Mineo really works those drumsticks like a pro (see the 2nd clip below)!
