SYNOPSIS: Nice mix of Gothic Horror & Giallo. The Lord of a creepy castle (Spaghetti Western star Anthony Steffen) is obsessed with his dead wife Evelyn much like a character from a Poe story in this modern day (1971) winner. He finds a stripper who look like his late wife, brings her home and tortures & kills her. Ultimately, he meets a new girl he finally falls in love and marries her. But soon after the marriage the Lord's friend's start getting murdered in gruesome ways and visions of horror really begin to haunt him. A highlight is when sexy Erika Blanc dances topless, wears sexy (thigh high) black boots and gets whipped. An overall sleazy feel, lots of nudity, great camerawork and a cool soundtrack make this a fun one! This is not the crappy fullscreen version seen for sale in bargain bins. In English. WIDESCREEN.
