SYNOPSIS: Owing more than a nod to the classic film horrors of the 50's and 60's (First Man into Space, Hideous Sun Demon etc). This 1977 film ups the ooze and gore content to please modern audiences. An astronaut returns from space to find he is slowly melting into a puddle of puss. Needless to say he goes a little nuts and anyone who gets in his way is in trouble. Not to mention the fact that he's developed a taste for human flesh! Best remembered for the slimy special effects by future make-up king Rick Baker. Cheesy film fun. WIDESCREEN.
