SYNOPSIS: Gloria Grahame was winding down her career when she starred as the head of an orphanage where torture, physical assaults and sadism are the order of the day. Lovely Melody Patterson is sent to live there after her prostitute mother is murdered. There's also a disfigured killer on the loose with a penchant for smashing in heads with a hammer!
