SYNOPSIS: First rate thriller from the pen of Alistair MacLean. Barry Newman stars as a troublemaker drifter who has more than a few tricks up his sleeve. At one point he leads police on an excellent extended high speed chase ( ala Vanishing Point) though dirt roads and swamplands. Plenty of plot surprises that I won't give away here. With solid acting support from Suzy Kendall, John Vernon and a young Ben Kingsley. This is compelling entertainment. With an original score by Roy Budd. A fantastic looking WIDESCREEN print!
