SYNOPSIS: One word describes this collection: "Howl-arious!". Doodles Weaver was part of Spike Jones' crew of musicians and comedians back the 40's-50's and known for his silly humor (plus he's Sigourney's Uncle!). Here's a great one-of-a-kind collection of fun. These short films are the goofiest, most harmless things you'll ever see. Doodles gets himself into all sorts of slapstick-type situations. All the characters (men and women, young and old) are played by Doodles and the soundtrack is music, sound effects and over-the-top corny narration. Transferred from 16mm these shorts have turned a little red but are still very watchable. They each have a running time of about 5 minutes. This extremely rare collection of 18 "A DAY WITH DOODLES" shows include the following episodes:

PLUS:  As a bonus you get a rare episode of the 1951 TV program "THE DOODLES WEAVER SHOW". It's Doodles' short lived variety show with comedy, songs and skits. Running time is 23 minutes.
