SYNOPSIS: Here's a great,
overlooked, quirky western from 1973. Hopper stars as a
not-too-swift robber who tries to go legit. He drifts from one awful
job to the next in the one-horse town he settles in. He
befriends Oates who plays one of his most memorable roles.
The film is filled with lots of great character
actors giving oddball performances. A real sleeper worth
checking out.
