SYNOPSIS: Bernardo
Bertolucci's controversial follow up to LAST TANGO IN PARIS and 1900
deals with a Mother/Son incestuous relationship. Jill Clayburgh
plays a single mother visiting Italy on a singing tour. Her
teenage son is her travel companion. She eventually discovers his
problems with hard drugs including heroin. In a desperate
attempt to save him they both spiral into the ultimate forbidden act
of incest. The film was shot by Vittorio Storaro.
