SYNOPSIS: Tons of action, fine
character actors and solid direction in one of Sam Peckinpah's most
neglected films. Still never properly released in the U.S. !
Admittedly a film based on the fad song "Convoy' wouldn't seem
a great idea but it works. Kristofferson enlists the help of
his army of trucker buddies to help him outrun and outwit crooked
cops (led by head baddie Ernest Borgnine). Action-packed in glorious
WIDESCREEN good buddy!
